From the outside looking in people see Oceanside High School as "ghetto" but this is simply not the case. The school is mostly filled with close knit friends, people that want to excel in their sports, and people that want to discover what they want to do when they are older.

Was a school with a lot of different clubs and oppurtunities for children to thrive. Oceanside High has a amazing photography program wich is funded and ran very well. All of the students are given a camera to use in class and can be checked out aswell. IN this class alone you visit local buisnesses and make your own website. Along wiht many other field trips. There are also plenty iof good sports teams from volleyball to football and water polo. Overall the school is pretty grat with a view of the ocean from the campus also.

My overall experience is fine, its right by the beach and has nice weather, threes plenty of nice and helpful staff and they take the students wants and needs into consideration.

Oceanside High School offers a rigorous curriculum that prepares graduates for college. They now offer an Associate of Science degree in Biomanufacturing, Cybersecurity, and a number of college courses on campus through MiraCosta College. I had the options to take multiple AP classes with grate teachers abd principles. I recieved so much support in all classes.

Too much computer time teachers don’t teach and they don’t pay attention to grading. The teachers are unsupportive and dissociative . Kids are required to be online 8 hours of school time plus homework. This is the most debilitating school for upward mobility I’ve experienced.
