My experience at OHS has been generally good. I have had great experiences with admin the really cares, and with teachers that make sure I'm learning everything that I need and want to learn. The environment is very nice and we have great facilities and programs for every one to be involved. The only issue I have had is with college readiness, we don't get much advice or correct paths to follow to be prepared for our futures.

I have enjoyed my high school experience so far I would not want to be anywhere else for high school. I am very heavy in the art and music area and wish there was more funding for the arts.

My personal experience with Oelwein High School has been filled with many fond memories and typical high school activities. The teachers are great, and I have made genuine connections with a few of them. I don't have many friends, but the ones I have I wouldn't trade for the world. Oelwein also offers a wide variety of school activities like speech, choir, band, and various sports. Overall, Oelwein is good to those that work hard and seek to do well.
