My name is Oscar Gil I'm currently a senior at Lindhurst High school I've been attending since my freshman year. My experience throughout my high school years have been good and also have been bad. When I first started high school I only finished my first half of my freshman year due to Covid and I couldn't start my majority of my sophomore year on campus to me that was a bad experience that out of my 4 years attending Lindhurst I only went for mostly 2 years so I couldn't get the full experience of being a high student. Once my junior year came around I could finally attend full time at school but we just needed masks my junior year was rough due to me having to miss out at the beginning of the year due to a family emergency. Not so long after I met someone name Austin Parr he was the athletic trainer at my school and sook to be my coach for track and field. Ever since the remaining of my high school years became more exciting and fun for me all because of sports.

Lindhurst High is an amazing school and all the staff is very supportive which you don't see that much nowadays. I went to multiple schools before this one, and I have to say the staff in this school is way better than the staff in any other school I've been in. This school encouraged me to join clubs unlike any of the previous schools and it the teachers taught in the class, I feel like this is the first year I've ever actually learned something. Our teachers remind us about college and they try to prepare us for it the best they can.

This school searched a freshman, no explanation as to why just told him “I need your phone” they searched it, didn’t find anything then brought him back to search it a second time the same day, still finding nothing, then saying don’t let us see you in here again! This is ridiculous, none of their p...

I cannot say enough good things about this high school! We were so lucky to have found them. They offer great opportunities for students to keep them engaged and advancing. They have a vast array of sports, vocational courses, AP classes, and clubs which allow the students to plug in to things they...

My school isn't nearly as bad as everyone thinks, yeah there's gangs, and fights, but what high school doesn't have that type of stuff? The students here are all amazing, and we treat each other like a family. MHS, YCHS, RVHS, and WHS are no better than us, yeah they have more money and maybe even a...

I've read all of the reviews for this school. What I can say is that the student apathy is real and I have noticed a few teachers who seemed to negate discipline in the classroom. However, the vast majority of the teachers and staff do care for the future of the students they teach. But they can onl...
