GreatSchools Rating

GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Teachers are willing to work with students if they need extra help, if students will ask.

Most of my teachers are very well educated in what they teach, they try to make sure we have integrated newer technology into the classes, most offer to stay after school when thy can to help struggling students, they are very easy to communicate with, they often ask how I am doing and ask about family members of mine that have also attended Oliver Springs, they grade fairly and consistent and they all have different but well teaching styles.

Something that makes Oliver Springs unique is the way our students interact with our special needs students. It is as if it is a sin to say anything out of the way about these students. Our students are also very accepting of one another. We are a small school but we are like a family for the most part.

Excellent school. Provides wonderful opportunities for the students. There is also a program where students are allowed to enroll in a "middle college" program. The program allows the student to enroll in local college and obtain an associates degree by the end of their senior year.

bad, website even sucks. They treat the special needs kids horribly and the teachers really don't care about much of anything.
