Paddock Road Elementary School is one of eight elementary buildings in the Omaha Westside Community School District. The building is located along Paddock Road, near the middle of the neighborhood and across from Rockbrook Park. It's a national Blue Ribbon School. That honors program recognizes schools that demonstrate a community effort with students, parents and guardians, and staff, helping to improve overall classroom achievements. About 75% of the school's teachers have their Master's Degrees. There are about 300 students enrolled at the elementary each year in PK through grade 6.
The Paddock Road Community Club is similar to a Parent Teacher Association. The club supports the school and staff with events and activities throughout the school year. Some are fundraising events like an annual fun run with others including an education element like field trips and hosting special guests to share learning experiences with the students. All of that comes together, and is focused on the school mission of ensuring, "... a program of academic excellence."

My children love Paddock. The teachers, staff, and families are caring and very supportive. They work with the children to ensure they understand the curriculum and if they see a child may need some extra assistance they take the initiative to provide that extra help. I love Paddock Road because it has a very diverse group of students who work so hard and enjoy being here! The parents are wonderful, giving, and caring people that look at for everyone associated with our school and community!

I love everything about Paddock Road. The teachers there are the greatest teachers ever. I have loved having my kids go to that school and wouldn't want them to go to any other.
