Mahar does a lot with a limited amount of resources. The school does its best to support students, and educate them as best as possible. The people here are really nice, and the community is close knit.

My experience was good for the most part, but there are some factors that still could be worked on. My sport got cut multiple time for "budget cuts" as well as a couple others and some of the music programs even though they'd give more and more money to other teams than usual. Most of the teachers are phenomenal. I can count on one hand the number of "bad" or "mean" teachers we have. Our students typically do very well and we have multiple dual enrollment courses with GCC for juniors and seniors. I, myself, will be graduating with 9 college credits and some students who took courses over the summer will have 12 or 16.

The staff is very friendly and they are very focused on teaching the children. The school is very clean and they offer plenty of extra programs such as sport and theater.

The school has some issues and as a student who goes here it takes the faculty a while to do anything for their students when they’re struggling, noted there are some decent teachers however there are also a few that aren’t so great , as for some letting their personal views slip into teachings and...
