St johns country day school is truly a horrible institution, racist, transphobic and keen on destroying the arts. Multiple faculty have left and students are known to make up rumors of other faculty to just get rid of them and administration goes out of their way to destroy faculty members lies if the kids have money. Severe bullying problems. Administrators bully faculty. If students have money beware.

I have only been at St Johns for since freshman year, but I have absolutely loved it. I love the small, close knit, family like, atmosphere this school offers. In addition, the teachers care deeply about every student's success and will do their very best to ensure that we all reach our full potential. Although the academics can be quite challenging, it is the best benefit to prepare us for college.

I have been at this school from pre-K to 12th grade and I would never even thought about leaving. Being an IPad school is very helpful with having less books. Our sports teams are also some of the best in Jacksonville especially our girls soccer teams which is one of the best in Florida.

We have a middle school child at SJCDS. He has enjoyed school and we have been pleased as parents. The teachers have been excellent and the administration has always been professional. The school has a very warm and close-knit environment.

If you’re not an alumni family, a local news anchor, or someone with a last name that helps the school’s reputation or funding don’t bother. St. John’s Country Day School isn’t about education. It’s about image. And unless your family somehow benefits their brand, your child is just a tuition check...
