On the surface, Hamlin Elementary looks great due to high test scores, but as a parent, I’ve seen what those scores cost. The school is hyper-focused on ratings, pushing kids far beyond what’s developmentally appropriate. Homework is excessive often hours per night, even for high-achieving students....
