I enjoyed my experience at Ortonville High School. The student involvement is very good, but the staff members are inconsistent.

I liked ortonville secondary school because the teachers treat you like friends and you feel very welcomed there. One thing I would change would be the food and different teaching techniques.

I feel that there are very few teachers that actually care about the students and help them. Some hardly keep up with posting grades and others go way to fast and just expect you to follow along with things that you don't even understand.

If you are looking for a mediocre school where expectations are low and every student is promoted regardless of their competency, then this school is for you. Students do whatever they want and face no consequences for improper behavior, in fact some students intentionally skip their assigned detent...

I have recently worked with some of the staff at Ortonville Public School. That are very professional and dedicated to education of the students!

administration takes advantage of the staff and student body. teachers are not respected because of lack of leadership from administration. overall teachers are great except for a few paycheck holders. overall morale has decreased significantly within the last 2 years due to change in administration...

There are some fabulous staff members at the school, and the administration does try. But the policies in place lead to many students not feeling accountable or acting out. Bullying and misbehavior are very rampant and policies are very unequal from one classroom to the next.
