The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I've had a pretty good experience at Oswego East High School, the community is great and the education is mostly great. It just depends on the teacher, some teachers don't do as good of a job as others, and aren't as cooperative or easy-going. This makes learning much harder than other classes where the teacher is good at their job. There are all kinds of people at my school, so the diversity is widespread. It is also very regulated and safe.

At my time at Oswego East, I've been able to develop many new friendships and positive relationships among my peers and the faculty. Many of the administration truly care about the well-being of their students and there's various ways to get involved within the school setting

The best thing about Oswego East is all the clubs they have to offer. There is something for everyone and if they don't have something you want they make it so easy to start your own club. The worst part about Oswego East is their preparation for college. There is resources but you have to seek them out and lots of people don't realize and don't take advantage of it.

Cross country was great and full of good kids. The baseball program is not good which has been true for awhile. I've s...
