GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

The quality of my education was definitely based on how much I cared and applied myself. I, personally did receive a good education but I know a lot of others who could have learned a lot more.

The best part about the school is that it is a new building and all of the classes aren't in just one area anymore. One of the downsides of being at this school is that there is lots of glass all over. You can see into pretty much every classroom in the school. Being able to be in the new school and make new friends has helped many of the students.

My favorite part of Owatonna Senior High School was the clubs and sports I was involved in. I had a fantastic experience with every club I interacted with and was a part of many successful teams. The worst part was the diversity and inclusion. Owatonna Senior High School preached inclusion but did a poor job of integrating students of different backgrounds and encouraging inclusion.

I'm a sophomore at OHS and while this school is somewhat okay the staff doesn't really push you or expect you to succeed. They don't really expect many students to go far so they don't really motivate you.
