Honestly for the two years I've been here it's not as bad as I thought. It has a bad reputation but the actual education is good quality. Sometimes you get stuck with poor teachers, but the good ones makeup for it. I will say, in terms of safety it's not the best school for that. Lots of fights.

Highland high school is a great school but it's not the best. We lack resources that other schools do, and etc. Overall my time at highland has been in the middle I think we just need more things to do in are classes not a lot of hands on activities.

Palmdale High School has been a very long rollercoaster for me. I originally began because my siblings had already attended the school and I was following in their footsteps. I began in their engineering academy which was not my favorite but nonetheless very good. I then moved to the health careers academy which has been absolutely fantastic. My main issues are the lack of security action. A lot of bad students run rampant around the school and the security does nothing which makes me feel not that safe. Besides that from an education standpoint it is an absolutely brilliant school and the teachers are amazing.

I would say, for being a low income school, students who were willing to learn, got a good experience. I graduated from Palmdale High, recieved twi Associates and just graduated from a four year University. These Students have a chance, they just have to be willing.

This school does not care about their students. A student close to me (a freshman) reported that she was being bullied and threatened with physical bodily harm, and all the officials told her was that, if she did get jumped and she decided to defend herself, both parties would be suspended. THEY DID...

I have 2 sons that went to this school mainly for football. Every thing the children want to participate in cost hundreds of dollars. They had teachers that didn't seem to want to help the children learn. The football coach Williams talked really bad about the boys on the team to scouts that wanted...

Hidden gem. I sub for all the schools in the district and this one is EXCELLENT! My favorite one to go to. The kids are respectful, willing to try, and willing to try. Yeah, Quartz Hill has excellent students, but this one has excellent ones who have less resources--yet they make it work. If you are...
