I enjoyed my experience overall. They have a great variety of STEM classes but are lacking in the humanities. Events and spirit is good during homecoming and night rally. But the school culture is pretty toxic and mostly everyone just cares about getting into college, and the teachers and environment reflect that. The administration also does not care at all about the students.

While I overall enjoyed my time at Gunn, the overall culture and mindset of the school was not for me. Far too much pressure and focus on college, and not the most diverse group of people.

Teachers are amazing! From my experience, Gunn is the kind of place where if you truly love learning you'll find yourself at home.

There are some exceptional teachers and a handful of m...

I went to this school for my freshman and sophomore years. Probably the worst experience I've ever had at a school.

As a parent with children in this school district I think it's important that people realize that a _huge_ chunk of kids are tutored and/or get outside instruction after school for many hours for many years--mainly because the content taught in the schools is not very rigorous (math for example).
