GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I loved how the school got me ready for college and always focused on my future. It taught me responsibility, gave me a work ethic, and helped form habits that would last the rest of my life. The teachers made a tremendous impact on my life and I strive to make them proud.

I would choose this school if I could do it all over again, at Grand Valley there is the "AP for all", which means that all grades will take at least two AP classes each year, with the intertwine with the other classes. This gives students the chances for a qualifying score without having to pay for the test, along with not having to be discouraged with not "being smart enough" to take the class.

We don't have as many as a large school but we do well with extracurriculars. They need to be better funded though.

High teacher turnover rate. High School principal seems uncaring for students. Treats all students like they learn the same way, all students are different and dont fit into one stamp.
