Henry County High School is an overall good school to be in. The staff makes sure that every kid gets a good education, and they also care very much for the students like putting us first. One thing that I would have to say that I do not like about they school would have to be some of the graduation requirements. Some of the requirements just do not make sense to me, but I know that the teachers have those rules in place to help every student be ready for what it will be like in the real world, all they are trying to do is just prepare the kids for what will come and happen after high school.

I will forever be great full for the access to theatre and visual arts within this school. (Dedicated classes with budgets and clubs). There are many teachers and staff members who are wonderful and work very hard to try to make it a good place. Students with low income houses are able to check out laptops for virtual work. However, there is an atmosphere about the school that makes its students feel that they shouldn't push themselves to go far out in the world or do great things, like the town itself is the universe itself. It's not a horrible place, but it forces most people to not dream big.

As a parent I feel the Parent/School interactions are more structured like a seminar. Show up, sit down, listen, leave. The interaction isn't very engaging, but the school has a large population so unsure how to fix these on a large scale. Perhaps focus more on Teacher - Class and less School-Family...
