The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.
The Test Score Rating reflects annual state test results for this school compared with scores statewide.

The best parts about my experience at this school were how interconnected everyone was with each other. Everyone knew who everyone was and there was an overall strong community. The more negative parts about my experience was the lack of education opportunities for careers based off of language services, and there mostly was a lack of options to choose from in general.

APW is a small district. With my experience, the music program is a big family and we all look out for each other. Teachers are willing to stay after school until the sun sets if it means helping their students. The school was very prepared when getting ready to reopen schools, and are supplying every student with laptops and are supplying unlimited internet free of charge to students who had none.

APW is a school with very little diversity but what little they have is constantly being tormented by the conservative bullies. They are low rated in academics why have is true and they have some awful teachers. Their band program is great and the Music teacher Anthony Veiga is a total boss.
Of course people who have grown up here either entirely love, or entirely hate this school, but as someone who only attended for junior and senior year of high school, it is terrible. I can remember only five teachers in the entirely place who actually care, and the counselling, and higher staff are...
I have been to this school for aboit 10 years soon 11, and yeah I've moved But I came back to many times to count. Haa, Yea it's a 6-10 But there are only like 400-450 students. With 7th and 8th graders. Not even 400 kids I bet. Also the class's are easier, than any other school I've been there But...
Many of the teachers have only a mediocre understanding of what they are teaching. The classes available are very basic with no AP options. The administration isn't particularly bright and bases many of it's hiring practices on nepotism instead of merit. The pay is fairly low for teachers compared t...
APW is a great school. I have lived in the school district for 15 years and attended school there for 10 years. I have had a good eduaction. I like the teachers and the flexibility for classes.
