I have been happy overall with academics at PHS. I have two children there now...one a senior, who I feel is well prepared for college.

Most teachers are kind and respectful towards students. I had many teachers, especially my senior year, that truly wanted me to succeed. However, it seemed to me that some extracurriculars were favored and would receive more recognition than others. I would love for all successes made by students on the school's behalf to be recognized equally.

My experience here as a senior has honestly been good. The teachers and staff are amazing and it's honestly like family. The community of Parkersburg and everyone who gathers around for this school is so incredible to see. There's some things that can be changed, but I think everyone would have something to say about that.

My experience in this school is great because it is a great school for champions in sports and good graduation rates and good teachers and good stuff…. I’m currently a student and I rlly think that this school deserves a good rating….also I love their good traditions and game Friday… wear red on Fri...

Parkersburg high school has went down the drain. They are there to bully the kids and act like the "governor " of our children as Mr. Kenny Demoss puts it. There is no rhyme or reason for anything they do. They rather expell the kids as Mr. Demoss said in his 2 part message. I know at least 10 kids...

The principal is more concerned with the way the public views the school versus handling it's actual issues... There is a horrific bully problem and our children are victimized rather than supported and resolution provided.
