Parrish community is a great school. They focus on your safety above anything else. Like all schools, some teachers are really supportive and nice, however you will always have some snotty and questionable teachers.

As a senior at Parrish Community High School, I have enjoyed my experience there. Being a full-time dual enrollment student at SCF Bradenton I don't go to school like my previous 3 years, but I still come back for athletics. My best experiences are through sports as I played soccer, football, and did weightlifting. All sports had great coaches who wanted to see you succeed. However the worst parts of high school are the communications of events that can help your future. I was very un aware of dual enrollment meetings and deadlines that were nearly unannounced by the school and only posted minimally on the school website. This led to me missing an opportunity of doing dual enrollment my junior year and getting my AA degree when graduating high school. But I was able to meet all deadline and requirements to take it for my senior year. Overall, Parrish is a good school for both sports and education, I just wish there was more clarifications between staff, student, and parent events.

PCHS is fairly new school. The school offers many classes for young minds to explore. I wish the school was more open to the LGBTQ community and offered some activities for this group. My overall experience was great and I will treasure my memories.
