GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

In my four years there much improvements were happening, but it wasn't until my senior year (I graduated in 2018) that I began to see some serious change. The staff began to become involved in the students life positively and you could see it in the students outcome. They modeled a lot when I was leaving ie; gymnasium, town hall.

I appreciate the diversity of peekskill highschool very much and it was a great nurturing environment to grow up in. I would like to see an improvement in the rescources and communication between the administration and the student body.

Peekskill High School is a really good school, and the current principal is really trying to improve and upgrade the school and the way that it runs. I love the diversity of the school and the clubs and sports that they have.

Overall good experience with a diverse student body. Your kids will get out of it what they put into it. If they study, are respectful, and have a healthy curiosity for learning, they will find themselves in a good place. If they tune out or run amok, then they will wind up a poor statistic. Both of...
