Petal High School has a very large student body that is diverse (for Mississippi). Their teachers are generally adored by students. They have a variety of sports teams and student club and groups.

The "friendliest city" lives up to its name even at the high school. There are plenty of AP and duel credit classes but no IB. The teachers are helpful and most offer extra credit. The counselors are overworked but will respond to emails fairly quickly. Extracurricular involvement is emphasized and rightly so as there are many of them to participate in.

During the time that I have attended Petal High School, I have grown as an individual. The staff is amazing and full of wonderful people. I feel that I am very prepared to enter my senior year.

This school has two goals football and passing the state test. If that is what you want from a school the this is the place. Otherwise it is a total waste of 4 years.

The school cares more about the dress code then stopping the bullies! I have loved most of the teachers, however the principal i...
