The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.
The Test Score Rating reflects annual state test results for this school compared with scores statewide.

I really like the AP options in the high school and I think the small class sizes and teachers are great!

Kings Valley Charter School is a very special place. When you walk in you don't feel like you're in school, you feel like you are in a family. The students and the teachers are so nice. I feel like I can have an honest conversation about anything with teachers and my voice will be heard. We also have so many chances whether it is with field trips or classes we get to learn what WE want not what the district wants us to, Ya we have to meet certain requirements but we have a voice on what we want to learn, and it is taken into consideration. Kings Valley cant be explained in only 1,000 characters I could go on and on about the school. But the only thing I will leave with is that KVCS is a unique place and I am lucky to be one of the 200 kids who attend KVCS
My grandsons are thriving here. The individualization is key. They have smaller class sizes and staff that care. It’s a great setting. They have bussing from nearby districts, which makes their school much easier to access.
Great classes, teachers who know and care about student success, enriching experiences, unique language offerings: 1st-5th Chinese, 6-12th French, 9-12th Italian. Educational 4 day trips in Oregon for high school students twice a year. Educational trips to France & Italy for high school students off...
