Good school. Very much an arts school and there is a broad spectrum of people that attend as they have one of the biggest/best special education programs, but there are also lots of kids who don't care about school unless they are in honors or AP classes.

Shadow Mountain High School is a great school if you're looking for no counselor involvement, no discipline, and no rules or school involvement. The teachers are great but the curriculum is everywhere.

The communication from Shadow Mountain faculty to parents is great. Weekly updates about school activities and prompt responses whenever I had to initiate contact. Principal went above and beyond when my son managed to forget something at school when they had already been dismissed for the summer.
