One of my children qualified for extra help they teachers are amazing in encouraging and keeping her focused. She has not been lost in the system weve seen through other school districts.

It was an average high school experience with a lot of stress. Most people were just trying to get through an average day but some activities proved to be fun.

there's a huge love for sports here, and i mean specifically all sports, our school principal lists the sports that were successful during games and tournaments on the morning announcements pridefully. our girls basketball team, girls volleyball team, football team, boys and girls track teams, and baseball teams are all very good. the same cannot be said for softball, boys basketball, or boys volleyball (however this is a newly integrated sport so i will cut some slack). our theater and chorale (show choir) are exemplary, filled with tons of talent and diversity. there is a ratio of about 60/40 white to black students respectively, with about 2,000 students. one thing i wish was emphasized is the class selection. while we do have a very large range of classes, as well as college credit plus through marion tech, i'd like the option to be able to take regular calculus, or more focused science courses, since i am planning on being an infectious disease specialist.

Unfortunately, my overall experience at this school was negative. Many teachers I had, did not go above and beyond in several aspects. For example, when I was struggling in an algebra class and asked the teacher for assistance, she frequently had an excuse as to why she couldn’t give me a few minute...

Great teachers, provided a good education and were always willing to help out. Many after school programs. The school is located in a very safe area and good community.
