I have enjoyed my experience at Pilot Point high school due to being highly involved in FCA and other social groups. Although a majority of my classes do not challenge me in order to prepare me for college. The learning environment is outdated and only a select number of teachers have put in tremendous effort to help me succeed.

Pilot Point High School is a very friendly and closely-knit high school. Everybody knows each other there in and out, and the school offers many extracurricular activities, and we are one of the most distinguished 3A high schools in the state. The food at the high school can be very little or not very nutritive, but the familiarity and uniqueness in our high school is what I value most in an institution, and is the reason I go to Pilot Point High School.

Staff is more worried about what is worn rather than how the students are doing or feeling. There is little to no college preparation and the counselor is more worried about his reputation rather than helping students out. I have been in many different schools in different districts, and this school honestly has been my least favorite.

Students that are not in sports or band tend to fall through the cracks. If a student is favored they can get away with pretty much whatever they want up to and included bullying other students. We love this school and the way they care about each student's well-being. You get what you put into your education. The teachers are always willing to go above and beyond to help the kids and the parents.

Two kids completed all 12 years in PPISD, were involved in many extra-curricular activities and were successful in college. Great small school experience with caring teachers.
