I've been attending Pilot Point ISD since I was in the first grade. The best things about this school district are the people and the atmosphere. Teachers are kind and caring. Administration is thoughtful for the most part. Sports are kind of lacking for the girls but the guys' coaches care for and coach them. Academics are lacking as well. There are not many classes available for those wanting to get a head start on their studies. There are also only 2 AP classes unfortunately.

The experiences I have in school are average. The best part about the school is how great the teachers are. They help students out with school and personal problems. The athletic program has been evolving into a great system to help teenagers find a purpose in life. The classes offered at this campus could be more beneficial to the students.

Staff is more worried about what is worn rather than how the students are doing or feeling. There is little to no college preparation and the counselor is more worried about his reputation rather than helping students out. I have been in many different schools in different districts, and this school honestly has been my least favorite.

I would rate my experience at this school as one star, coming from an academically-oriented point of view. The only admirable emphasis this school has academically is making sure students get into college, which appears on the surface to be a worthy cause but, upon closer inspection, obviously has s...

Students that are not in sports or band tend to fall through the cracks. If a student is favored they can get away with pretty much whatever they want up to and included bullying other students. This is not an ideal atmosphere for students and getting the administration to address it is very difficu...

We love this school and the way they care about each student's well-being. You get what you put into your education. The teachers are always willing to go above and beyond to help the kids and the parents.

Two kids completed all 12 years in PPISD, were involved in many extra-curricular activities and were successful in college. Great small school experience with caring teachers.
