Pine City Secondary School has been my school since seventh grade. One of the biggest complaints with my school is the lack of diversity. I will go through my entire school day and see 95% Caucasian students and faculty.

Great teachers that cared about your mental health and safety. Board was a little different, however.

The teachers at the school are wonderful people. They love to connect with their students, and always had time to help when a student had questions, or did not understand a subject. Staff were always nice and helpful, and remembered your name even when there were thousands of students around.

I graduated from Pine City High School in 1996 and found the experience of attending this school to be very pleasant. I always thought we were competitive in activities and the school was large enough to offer a lot of variety in curriculum. The school and its fine educators taught me a lot in life....

As the school is the high school, the students face many challenges. Being a teen and trying to grow to independence is challenging, but the staff works hard to have the students gain responsibility and independence in their school work.
