There have been some great aspects of Pioneer. Our sports teams are fantastic, the teachers have so much passion for their job, and the student life is booming. However our arts teachers are severely mistreated. Many of their supplies have been reused for years. Our theater is falling apart and no one is doing anything about it. I don't want to see our arts programs fall apart after I leave. I found so much comfort with music and performing, I want other kids to be able to find that community as well.

My overall experience with Pioneer High School was very rewarding. It is a very diverse and welcoming environment for everyone on campus. I feel like Pioneer does a very good job when focusing on college readiness for students, they inform you about what classes are needed and push you to keep your grades up.

It was a good place to go to school even though they needed to work on their anti-bullying tactics, but overall, it was a good school and gave me many opportunities to succeed.

The principal constantly talks bad about teachers. She even talks bad about teachers to the students. She told a student that the English teacher was bad and she won't be there next year. She yells and degrades everyone. Every year there are new teachers because of the lack of administrative support...

PHS has improved a lot over the years and is still improving. No more fights happen at lunch time and the test scores are improving. Great teachers.
