I love MCI personally, and I think it's a great little town academy. Our performing arts are incredibly strong, and out community is beautiful.

Just when the school has a diverse family and global vision, the Maine Cianbro Institute (MCI) reverts back to its 1950's ways of closed-minded and corporate thinking. Too bad--we were headed in the right direction until the Board gets too involved . . .

My friend's child is stuying in MCI andthis encouraged me to send my son come here to study. The transportation is convenient over here, I can transfer airline at New York City or take bus to the town nearby the school. The tuition fee is not expensive, they also have AP and very nice art classes. My son has become a lot more confident during these years of studying in MCI and he has build an amazing communication and independent ability.

Being a colored student, I was often dealing with snarky comments from teachers and discrimination from students, despite being an unproblematic 4.0 gpa student. When I brought this to the attention of the counselor, nothing changed.

I’d give a 0 if I could. Incredibly unprofessional leadership. The school is a disgrace compared to its history. The Head Master (Christopher McDonald) runs the school like he’s the leader of a boys club and sweeps things under the rug. The athletic director (James Leonard) is sexist, unprofessional...

I love this school, MCI teaches the student that its almost time for college and they get you ready for it and they help you with every step of the way if you want it. I'm currently a sophomore and haven't found a dislike in this school yet.
