GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

My experience at Poplar Bluff high school is average. The teachers play a huge part in the high school experience and so do the people. The things that I wish could improve would be the bathrooms. The bathrooms are nasty and not clean at all. I also feel like instead of hand air dryers we should have paper towels to dry our hands. The air dryer does not dry your hands very well and you leave the bathroom with wet hands.

Poplar Bluff High School is an experience in itself. The past 4 years were incredibly difficult. I would like to see the staff care more about their students than just their paycheck.

It is a good school but things could be better. Students need more knowledge on what to do after high school.

Would not recommend this school to anyone. They do not value students opinions on anything, there are only a handful of teachers you care and respect students, and they keep getting worse.
