As a football player I have noticed alot has been put into our athletic programs but not into the academics side. If I attended high school in my previous district I would have had access to more honors and AP classes. In the current district we don't have as many classes available to us. I would like to see more classes offered. But know that problem can be due to adults leaving teaching and the district unable to find teachers.

All in all, Poplarville High is pretty decent compared to most schools in my area. The biggest complaint I have is the bathroom situation. The bathrooms are outdoors and filthy and half of the time there is no soap or paper towels or even toilet paper. Furthermore, the food isn't good at all— with the exception of the pizza — and the classrooms are old and dirty. However, some of the teachers are really good. (Emphasis on "some"). And sometimes you can actually get some form of education. Sometimes. At least they let us have a twenty minute break time to hang out with friends.

Poplarville High School was an eye opening experience. The many extra curricular activities helped me to come out of my shell and discover what I want in life. The many college readiness courses prepared me for my future and helped me better understand what I wanted to do with my future after highscool.

I am a senior at Poplarville High School and I'm glad I got the privilege to go to Poplarville High. There are more clubs than just BETA. There is First Priority, HOSA (allied health), DECA (marketing), TSA (digital media technology), FCCLA (culinary arts), FFA (agricultural sciences), not to mentio...

I am blown away of the total mistakes these reviews hold! I am a junior at PHS and I want to get some things straight! Our school offers almost a dozen different clubs from a digital media club, to journalism, to a health science club and so so so many more. The school offers several extra curricula...

While this school may be suited for its more rural and dropout-prone student body, it hardly offers a chance for university-bound students. There are no AP classes unless people sign up for them (which hardly anyone does) and honors courses are a myth; extracurriculars aside from band, chorus, sport...

Poplarville high school has got to be one of the worst schools for children to attend. The so called new principle could care less about the childrens education the special ed program must have forgotten the no child left behind act. The office staff have got to be some of the rudest most disrespect...
