Kalamazoo Country Day School has a small class size so the student to teacher ratio is low. The school stuff and teachers really show cares to all students and willing work with each family to meet their needs. Highly recommended.

My daughter started KCDS on 4/1/2024. She was at a third grade level in math at almost the end of fourth grade. They immediately took action in giving her extra help at school and her math teacher tutors her after school twice a week. I was just told my daughter passed her state test at grade level!!! We left the other school due to bullying and nothing being done to stop it. My daughter has told me more than once that kids are nice at this school. My daughter had terrible anxiety and didn't want to go to school. Her anxiety is gone and she can't wait to go to school now. Such a huge difference in such a short time. Truly amazing people care for the kids here. A wonderful environment.

Switching to KCDS from KPS was the best decision I made for my child! In public schools there was more of a curriculum being pushed, than basing the curriculum on the child and their capabilities. This is our second year with KCDS, and we love it here, the class sizes are small which gives our daughter the attention she needs, the staff knows every child by name and is very welcoming
