The best parts of my four years at Portland High were the four years I was a part of the Portland Basketball team. Sophomore year we won the district championship and got runner up in the region. Junior year we won the district championship again and lost in the second round of region. And my senior year we got third in district but got runner up in region and lost in a sectional game. Something I would like to see change in the school is the cleanliness of the bathrooms. They were always very dirty and unkept.

Portland High School is rich in culture, providing students and excellent opportunity to flourish in a community that cares for their success. Administration cares about the health and well-being of their students.

The best part of PHS is all the after school activities that are offered...and we have student led clubs. PHS allows students try to make clubs that are appropriate. The worst part is the food. A lot of the times the food is either not edible or just not good quality. If anything was to change about PHS though is the bully response.

I really like the school and the staff there. They have different types of clubs for the kids as well as well as classes that can get you a career as a CNA. We moved to Portland my daughters Freshman year and we love it.

I worked at Portland High School for three years as a consultant and found the faculty, for the most part, to be dedicated to the academic and personal well-being of all students. This school has a "community/family" spirit which is difficult to find in today's society. I loved my tenure there.Judi...

This school is very behind and slow on academics. They also do nothing about bullying as administration.
