Although where the school is and the types of kids that enroll into this K-8 the teachers are always there and has become the support system of the school. With all of the problems that they are faced: being a focus school, and unstable administration, these teachers have been there the whole time for the students. Although a major chunk of the original staff has left; the new staff that consists of teachers and student advisors have done an exceptional job of adjusting.

Please ignore the "rating" on GreatSchools and look instead at what is actually happening at Scott School. My daughter is in Spanish Immersion kindergarten and is not learning academics in a second language, she is learning a second culture. I can not express the value of learning in a diverse environment and the different presepectives that teaches.
