I can’t say enough good things about Corte Madera. My daughter is in 6th grade and is thriving there. The Portola Valley School District has a new superintendent as of two years ago and she’s dynamite. I had a very good experience at Corte Madera when I attended. The sports programs were very competitive and the academic curriculum was pretty challenging. I've heard that CMS is not entirely the same as it once was though and lost multiple principles and had some of the best teachers when I was the...

4th and 5th grade have been a disappointment so far. 3 principals in 3 years, no leadership, lots of changes made to water doen the poorly perforning teachers, so hopefully the middle school is better.
