There are definitely great things about Prescott High School. The academics are great as well as the athletics, but what needs improvement is the arts. There is only one art teacher between the Middle School and High School, and she is stretched extremely thin.

They added and mural in the halls that shows that the staff is welcome to people of all races and all kinds. They are also accepting of the LGBTQ+ community. As long as you stay with the right group of friends your experience will be good. The counselors are also amazing and very helpful.

Prescott High School has truly prepared me for college, in my opinion. The teachers work very hard to ensure that all students have the same opportunities and are doing the best they possibly can. The only problem I have is that Prescott is extremely focused on the sports, more so than the arts. Also, the mistreatment of the drama department is deplorable. Why build a brand new auditorium that the drama department cannot use?

The school has unpassionate young teachers that don’t teach. I was a straight AtoB student until we got a new math teacher. He was yelling at us half the time or teaching us stuff the we didn’t understand because he would explain it. And we would always have a test the next day, no wonder I had a D-...

Prescott High School is not a good learning enviornment for students. I graduated with a good GPA, and was number 11 in my class. I took most of the AP courses offered, but the number of higher level classes at this school is microscopic compared to what college classmates from other High Schools we...

Prescott HS has been going downhill and continues too. Math and Science scores are low. Parents with successful young adults have had to get tutors to supplement what isn't offered (or offered well). While most high schools push for 4 years of language, Prescott really truly only does 2. While some...
