GreatSchools Rating

Source: GreatSchools
GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

It was an okay school. However, the school was always changing their minds. At the beginning they're very strict with attendance by giving lunch detention, 2 weeks later they did away with that. And they kept changing the dates/times for senior activities.

Most Staff Members and teachers are extra helpful, and I see that they actually care about you and your future. In my experience with teachers and staff they have been really helpful and comprehensive in many situations, and also helped me to get trough tough times.

I would like for Progreso High School to get more revenue and invest more on college readiness programs and sports.
