Prosper High School serves students in ninth through 12th grade. The curriculum is based on the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills standards. The best parts of prosper high school is the community and people. You feel like you have a family no matter where you are the worst part of prosper high school is that there is none. Everyone make sure you are involved and connected.

My experience at Prosper High School has been one that will prepare me for the future. I have built friendships through this school that will last a lifetime. I have also learned who I don't want to surround myself with. I did lose a few friendships, and that hurt, but in the end, I figured out who I wanted to make the most of my time with. The newspaper class has become my second home, and I gained invaluable experience through the rehabilitation aide program. Both have influenced how I want to impact the world around me. One thing I would like to see changed is increased acceptance of making mistakes in the school environment. As a student I put a massive amount of stress on myself, so it's important to be reminded that no one is perfect. Overall though, I have enjoyed my time here. That's to say, not every year has been a breeze, but each year has taught me a valuable lesson. I was put in this place for a purpose and a reason. I will cherish the highs and lows of PHS forever.

I would like to see more diversity and inclusion in the school. Although, there has been a trend in the right direction I'd like to see more momentum. The teachers and resources at the school are amazing and never-ending as long as you continue to reach out and pursue them.

I advise parents to steer clear of this school and the theater department in this school. The school fails to follow IEP’s and 504 plans. Administrators ignore parents and do not follow their own code of conduct. When a grievance is made by a parent they retaliate on the student. Teachers can not control the classrooms making the culture unsafe for students.

We moved here last year and the school has been great for my incoming Freshman and Junior..The teachers are fantastic and the Principal is great and engaging. The school is yes crowded but Walnut Grove is opening in August and will eleveate some of the over-crowded halls. School is what you make it....
