Before I came to work here, I only new of Punahou's reputation as the premiere private school in Hawaii. As I have come to find out it is so much more with amazing faculty/administration/staff and incredible parent & family support. It is large, sitting on 76 acres with about 3,800 students. Bigger is not always better but the size allows Punahou to provide the depth and breadth in everything from curricula, athletics, arts, etc. that few can match or provide.

My favorite part about being a Punahou student was the vast amount of opportunities the school had to offer. I was able to sail on the school's Kamaola and discover my passion for marine biology.

Punahou was really such a blessing to me and my family. They have given me such great opportunities that I would not be able to get elsewhere. I felt so welcomed. The spirit of aloha runs deep within the school. Thank you Punahou!

Punahou is an amazing school with a rich curriculum for Academy students. However, it is difficult for new kids to feel include and integrate. Punahou does not do much for new kids. My child feels like it’s hard to break into the long established friend groups. Kids are quiet and not very friendly....
