I've noticed that this school is very good in academics. I easily fit in and understand the courses taken. Something I wish they would change is probably to add more stringed instrument classes. They only have band and it sucks for someone like me who plays violin to not be able to be involved in that.

The school is only good when there's not a huge fight consisting of 40 kids. The faculty is nice to you when they want to be and the only teachers that push you are the higher level ones (AP & IB).

My experience at Quartz Hill High School was rocky at first due to Covid. I then began to gain more stability with school counselors' academic programs and clubs. The worst part of my experience at Qu was not being told enough about college during freshman year. The best part of Quartz Hill High was how helpful the administration was when I came to them for help or questions about school. Quartz Hill High could use some change, as in teaching the lower grades about college and A-G requirements.

The administration prefer to hire young and inexperienced teachers (often not fully credentialed) instead of older more experienced teachers.Likely because they are cheaper and won’t push back on decisions that are detrimental to their subject. There is total apathy toward the arts.Discipline is a j...

It’s one of the better ones in Lancaster. But that isn’t saying much. We don’t have a lot of options here for quality education where our kids are safe and bullying is stopped. This school does its best and is far better than a few of the others in the area. Still I moved rather than letting my kids...
