There were only the most basic of sports, with Fall semester there was Football, Volleyball, and Soccer. Then the most popular and our best athletes played in Basketball, and we were relatively decent at that. But most people joined the Track and Field team, and many made it to the State Championship.

There will always be peer pressure, but that's not a problem if you can be who you are. Most of the students here are Hispanic, and there are only only 4 non- Hispanics that I can think of including me. The school supports sports, and so many students participate and are therefor athletic. Due to it being a small town, their way of thought is very narrow, and are very religious.

There is a dress code, but its not really enforced unless its something that really crosses the line. There are a few occasions when the usual trouble makers get in trouble, and they get a little bit of out of school suspension, but those events happen very infrequently.
