Design Tech is seriously lacking in terms of the arts. All the resources go to science and mathematics, and everything else gets the leftovers. The school claims to help all the students pursue the careers they want to, but as somebody who's very interested in the arts and wants to be an actor, I have no support or help for the future I want to pursue. Dtech is for the sciency-mathy-business people and generally no one else. Every other community or career path is set aside as an afterthought.

The teachers at DTech are very helpful. I love the curriculum and the teaching system at our school. We are a small school and do not have AP classes, but we can take college classes, which is even better as we can choose from various subjects that might not be taught at traditional high schools. I wish our school had PE and Music programs.
