GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

It's a very good school. Having smaller classes allow more one on one with the students. The teachers also have a connection with the students. The school is very welcoming and understanding. It is a big change going from Virginia to a small town in Iowa but it was worth it. The kids are really kind and bullying doesn't really happen. If it does, it is stopped almost immediately.

My experience at G-R High Schools is like a baby and a lemon. For the most part my experiences were surprising, at times I have struggled and at others I prevailed. I feel as if the teachers actually impact your learn and give you people to trust in. The academic parts were alway challenging and if you didn't understand then you alway have someone to go to for help and information. The teachers at G-R High School are really outstanding and valuable, and I don't think you could get that at any other place.
