Golden Plains High School, has a very friendly environment, its almost cozy when you walking to the door. Everyone greets you saying 'hello'. It makes you feel at home. The school is an established facility making it easy to get into the classroom, and get started on learning. I would like to see, perhaps see the internet qualities improve but given its location it would seem difficult.

School spirit could use some uplifting when it comes to students, but our community overall is incredibly supportive. Nearly everyone is in a sport at one given time out of the few that are offered: volleyball, football, basketball, track, and cheerleading. We have few athletic facilities and we don't have a track or a proper football field.

Safety isn't an issue. Our environment is very safe and supportive. Someone is always available to help and lend a helping hand. Health programs aren't incredibly prevalent; about the only aspect health offered are seasonal flu shots.
