I was a student who attended Pocahontas and I noticed when bullying they pretend there's nothing you can do. They don't step in teachers hear it all and yet they do absolutely nothing. Academics are fine but if your computer doesn't work that will be an absolute dilemma. Many physical fights. I witnessed students fighting with teachers but I mean PHYSICAL and don't get expelled. Students think they're kings and queens and treat you like garbage. At least the majority. Many students go out of control and they do absolutely nothing. At least I wouldn't recommend this school for your child the environment is toxic and students are a bad influence. DO NOT bring your child here i don't recommend it. hope this helped.

I would not recommend this school or this school district to anyone. My child has had an extremely negative and beyond disappointing experience at Pocahontas Middle due to the completely inept and weak leadership in place.
