The atmosphere of the school is electric, and the alumni connection remains strong. Many people go back to teaching because of the amazing experiences there. The sports and activities are very successful and ignite the school and student involvement. The school spirit is big with amazing and encouraging staff. The preparation for college is highly rated and is easily the best school in New Mexico.

The campus is kept in good looming condition and is clean outside. Some of the teachers are a bit a rougher than others. Food quality is okay and classrooms are good

I love how when we work together we become family. I would like to see kids have more respect and not smoke in the bathrooms. I would also like to see boys pick up their pants and girls not just wear a bra to school I wish we all had a little more motivation ever since COVID I've noticed teens have no motivation for anything they wear pjs to school and have grades drop I wish teachers would be more helpful to students who are quiet and less comfortable than most students who are.

I am all for supporting school staff, particularly after covid where they all took such a beating, but the staff at CHS is terrible to deal with. This high school is beautiful and the staff is caring. Communication is excellent and I always feel well informed of what is happening. I’m also very impressed with their sports programs.

As a homeowner in this district I have no other choice but to send my children to this school. They failed my child on the very first day of his freshman year. Suspended a child with extreme social anxiety and learning disabilities isn’t helping a child succeed. Please if you move into this district...
