The best part of RRHS is the activities and extracurriculars as they have the most in the entire state, the downside of RRHS may be some of the staff and administrators

My overall High School experience was about a 7/10. It is fun, good people here, and this is a great school. However, some faciality members are quite agressive and Rio Rancho High School has progressively gotten more strict over the years. The best part of my experience here in Rio Rancho High School is most likely the basketball games and school activites in general. The worst is definitely when the staff members are being extremely strict and overdoing a situation.

Overall, my experience at Rio Rancho High School was excellent. They are very welcoming and made me feel like I belonged in the community. They were able to help the students navigate the pandemic, and held us to a high standard of being kind to each other. I personally loved attending this school.

This has ti be the worse school. Drugs, vaping, bullies both students and most of the teachers. School is the same as a jail or prison. Drugs, vaping and sk camera all over but doesn't stop all the illegal drugs, smoking, vaping and sells that happen. Teachers pick on kids and don't stop bullies but...

I had to switch to independence due to this school refusing to look into my transcripts. they told me I was over 5 credits behind and I wouldn't graduate, when in reality I was only missing two credits and could graduate on time. this school caused me so much stress and the teachers could care less...

With what happened to my oldest child at this school, I will not send my Littles ones here (I will send to a charter school)

Horrible place to be. The focus is on sports and not a supportive place to go. teachers seem miserable and its run down.
