This school has changed quite a bit with new administration. There are lots of options for the students and behavior is now above what I would consider normal for middle schoolers. It has a welcoming atmosphere and challenging academics.

We have lived in La habra and West Covina and so far this school is more active and more engaged in teaching and providing work for the students. Not sure what the rating from other would be based on, but having kids in school in other public schools and comparing to Gage it is not a bad school.

gage is pretty fun tbh but the teachers ruin it by being totally biased and take it way too serious as in detentions and punishments and the phone policy is stupid considering we cant even use it at lunch

Honestly gage is fun but the staff is horrible. they try way too much and they are just embarrassing. they care too much about being late and it’s so annoying. Detentions are always packed and its just not a good environment. Teachers have favorites and are weird.
