Gage was an average middle school. There were many fights and we had minimal sports teams. The food was pretty crappy, but they did have a slushy machine that made up for the lousy food. The academics were good if you were in honors, however if you weren't in honors you barely learned a thing. Kids were loud and disrespectful.

We have lived in La habra and West Covina and so far this school is more active and more engaged in teaching and providing work for the students. Not sure what the rating from other would be based on, but having kids in school in other public schools and comparing to Gage it is not a bad school.

gage is pretty fun tbh but the teachers ruin it by being totally biased and take it way too serious as in detentions and punishments and the phone policy is stupid considering we cant even use it at lunch

Honestly gage is fun but the staff is horrible. they try way too much and they are just embarrassing. they care too much about being late and it’s so annoying. Detentions are always packed and its just not a good environment. Teachers have favorites and are weird.
