Even though I have recently graduated, it was not such a horrible experience like many other people make it out to be. I have met amazing administrators, teachers and friends and has learned a lot of lessons by each and everyone one of them. The only thing I would say that needs to be a change is less strictness and more activities and engagement with the students. That will help the students look forward to going to school more.

Spoto is a great school. Since me coming to this school we were able to move up from a C school to a B school. I think this was mostly done through the Collegiate program, which I am in. The Collegiate program has gotten better as time has gone on, it has gotten more organized and easier. While, yes, people fight at spoto but kids are fighting at every school so I don't count that in our school culture. Spoto is very academic based but our arts and sports program are getting better. Fine arts and drawing classes are very developed but I would like to see more development for theater.

Attending Spoto was really something, I'm not going to say that the school was bad because no school is bad, but it definitely had better days. In my honest opinion, you just need to stick with the right crowd and keep the focus on what you are there for, which is to learn the staff can be helpful if you don't get on their bad side and the teachers do care if you show them the effort of wanting to learn. But I do believe that Spoto was sadly turned into a last-resort type of school, causing certain type of kids who attend it that make certain days of going unsafe but overall I can tell that the facility is doing its best to cut down on the foolishness.
