I went to Allendale Columbia school starting in Pre-K. I grew up with so many wonderful people who helped me grow and learn. The food, diversity, and sports could be better, but overall, the school is crazy nice, and the teachers actually care about you and your wellbeing. :)

Allendale is without question the premier private school in Rochester. As an alumnus, and a parent of an alumnus, I have over 50 years under my belt as a part of AC's rich tradition. If you want the very best academics, Allendale Columbia is it. I continue to be amazed at the young men and women who graduate from AC. Every facet of life under the birches is an experience in enrichment.

The teachers are amazing and so are the academics, I just wish it was bigger. 30-45 people per class is too small.

Unfortunately, I can only think of three redeeming qualities about this school. The Head of the Upper School was nice, and the administrative assistant and school nurse were kind. AC offers an education unlike any other in Rochester. An elite private school, AC's academics are stellar in conception and focus. As an alum, my AC experience led to opportunity on a level unattainable via any local public district.

Our son's experience was well rounded and intense at the same time. We strongly recommend this school to those who value education within and outside the classroom.
