GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I recently graduated in June 2024 and had a great experience at Rochester Early College. Although the school lacked a strong sense of spirit and the funding for a lot of fun activities, it offered a wealth of resources regarding academic development that the staff actively encouraged students to utilize.

My experience at really college is a pleasant one. Staff is very kind and nice, very helpful. The opportunities to work at the college campuses are very unique and helpful in the college readiness aspect. They also highlights student achievements and academic successes.

Rochester Early College is the only school in the Rochester City school district that offers college credits you can graduate with 64 college credits it's an international school so we have different languages and races in our school the administration does care about our kids but lacks the help we need in our building the food is your average high school lunch while the building itself has some beautiful architecture it needs a little TLC it sits on the old Maddison high school which was replaced for a middle school Rochester early college doesn't have its building but the 2024-2025 school year that will change because of the recent superintendent changes to the RCSD. we share a building with "Wilson Foundation Academy" which is a k-8 building that also shares a name with the "Wilson High School" which is within walking distance of Foundation Academy the RCSD is in a budget crisis which has been a problem for many years now which affects our own (kids). My name is Anthony 11th grader.

My daughter attends and this is her second year here, she loves it and I do too. She will have the opportunity to have college credits from attending an accredited state college during her high school years. They are picky and wouldn't let her brother attend.
